YOU ASKED, WE LISTENED...
Real talk, friends and backers: When Team HAUNTED HIGH-ONS planned out this Kickstarter campaign, we knew the book was good enough to get funded -- and we knew the Stretch Goals were cool enough so that we'd unlock some of them, at least. We weren't sure how many... but we knew we'd unlock some.
I, as writer of the series and a comic completist, was really hoping we'd get to the 11th one by the last day, earning us enough funds to include the original 2017 HAUNTED HIGH-ONS one-shot in this collection, while Jamie (for example) of course wanted to be able to at least include his own "lost" cover with Stretch Goal #12. My point being, we all had our own internal bets of where we'd land by the final hours of the last day.
Well, as I now write this update we're less than $150 (or five Kickstarter Exclusive Hardcovers) from unlocking the 13th Stretch Goal, which will give the Kickstarter Exclusive Hardcover a Kickstarter Exclusive wrap-around cover by artists Marianna Pescosta and Alessandro de Fornasari, which is an AMAZING accomplishment that I hope you're all extremely proud of helping make happen.
Seriously, folks, we don't take and of your support for granted: THANK YOU.
Given the way the campaign has been going over the last few days, I suspect that we're going to unlock the 13th Stretch Goal at some point in the next 24 hours, but given that I'll be at Green Brain Comics in Dearborn, Michigan from 11AM-8PM celebrating Halloween ComicFest and signing copies of my new Source Point Press comic THE ADVENTURES OF CTHULHU JUNIOR AND DASTARDLY DIRK with series artist/co-creator Scoot McMahon, I probably won't be able to update the page until late in the evening if we unlock that 13th "Hiddenable" Stretch Goal during that time.
That's not the real reason I'm sending you this e-mail, though.
The reason I'm sending you this e-mail is because, again, we have FIVE FREAKING DAYS LEFT in the campaign, and that's room to possibly unlock ONE more Stretch Goal, right?
Right!
So, friends, without further ado...
YOU ASKED AND WE LISTENED! We now have five days to unlock the 14th and final ULTIMATE STRETCH GOAL!
That's right: Twiztid is offering-up a new Kickstarter song for anyone whose pledge includes the Kickstarter Exclusive Hardcover if we hit 30K in presales/pledges by the end of this campaign! You asked and we listened... and we have FIVE DAYS to unlock this amazing and final free "Hiddenable." Let's make it happen, all!

The 12th Stretch Goal has been unlocked!

WE'VE JUST PASSED 25K IN PLEDGES! THANK YOU!
Seriously, everyone... all of us on team HAUNTED HIGH-ONS are kind of speechless over here at the moment! We just unlocked the 12th Stretch Goal and have soared past $25,000 in pledges thanks to your support! THANK YOU!
This means that, along with every other Stretch Goal, TWIZTID HAUNTED HIGH-ONS: "The Darkness Rises" will now feature the additional and never-before-seen variant cover by Jamie Madrox in the Variant Cover Gallery, the three different epilogue bonus stories (featuring Alla Xul Elu, Blaze, and a peek at the next villain from HAUNTED HIGH-ONS respectfully), and the initial 2017 one-shot, and a "Thank You" section listing every backer by name!
Furthermore, the Kickstarter Exclusive Hardcover Edition will also come with a bookplate mini-print signed by me, Marianna, Alessandro, Madrox, and Monoxide, a cover exclusive to the Hardcover!
There's currently only one Stretch Goal left which will upgrade the special variant cover to the Kickstarter Exclusive AGAIN, this time making it a wrap-around cover that will be exclusive to the Kickstarter Exclusive Hardcover Edition of the book, making it even more rare and collectible!
Remember, the only way to get all the Stretch Goals is to make sure your pledge includes the Kickstarter Exclusive Hardcover of the book (aka: pretty much any pledge of $30 or higher).
Finally, since some of you are already asking... yes... there's already talks among the team of adding one extra-special uber-wicked FOURTEENTH Stretch Goal. There's no guarantees on this, of course... but given that we have one week left and are already bearing down on Stretch Goal #13, well... let's see what happens, yeah?

We just got the 9th Stretch Goal with 9 days left!
Well, that was quick! Y'all are amazing, you know that, right? he NINTH Stretch Goal has just been unlocked, which means that a SECOND epilogue will now be added to the book featuring BLAZE YA' DEAD HOMIE!
PRAISE XUL! Two more of you are being drawn into the book!
Within moments of posting the two "PRAISE XUL!" pledge levels (wherein two more people could be drawn into the comic) both pledges were INSTANTLY claimed, which helped us unlock the 9th Stretch Goal, too!
Given how popular that option is, I'm going to see if we can make it so that perhaps we can squeeze another chance or two to be drawn into the BLAZE bonus story epilogue... so watch this space, yeah?
