Dirk Manning here! I hope this message finds you all safe, healthy, and happy, on a beautiful Friday afternoon.

Those of you who have supported some of my previous my Kickstarters may already have received notice that we launched a campaign for my newest book BUTTS IN SEATS: THE TONY SCHIAVONE STORY a few weeks back, and given the monumental success of the campaign (we're already over 2,000 Backers and $114,000 in pre-sales), there's a good chance several of you have already backed the campaign to get your Kickstarter Exclusive Hardcover Edition of the book.

Well, either way, I have some very exciting Twiztid-related news for you regarding BUTTS IN SEATS that I'll get to that in a moment. First, though, for some of you who are unaware of the book...

What is BUTTS IN SEATS about?

This is a biographical comic about the life (and adventures) of  legendary professional wrestling announcer Tony Schiavone. As an  unabashed fan of professional wrestling since childhood, I'm honored to  be working on this book with Tony and a combined total of over 25  incredible artists I've been able to hand-pick for this graphic novel, including TWIZTID HAUNTED HIGH-ONS artist Marianna Pescosta, who illustrated the trade paperback edition cover of the book. Mind you, as you'll see at www.ButtsInSeatsComic.com, through the Stretch Goals we've unlocked a Kickstarter Exclusive Variant Cover by another artist... but should you really want both covers (and ALL the Stretch Goals), we put in a "Tag Team" Pledge Level that will get you both the Kickstarter Exclusive Hardcover of the book (which comes with ALL the Stretch Goals and upgrades) as well as standard softcover trade paperback edition (which features Marianna's cover).

That being said, Marianna isn't the only TWIZTID HAUNTED HIGH-ONS creator doing some art for BUTTS IN SEATS...

OUR DUDE JAMIE MADROX IS ILLUSTRATING ONE OF THE PIN-UPS IN BUTTS IN SEATS!

One of the Stretch Goals we unlocked at www.ButtsInSeatscomic.com is adding ten pin-ups to the book, and Jamie Madrox has graciously agreed to lend his artistic talents to illustrate one of them, which is something we're super-stoked about... and honored, by, quite frankly. Jamie's not only a great musician, but an extremely talented artist, so we're honored to be able to showcase that side of his creative talent in this book!

Jamie's pin-up will be in ALL versions of the book, but keep in mind that if you want all 16 (going on 17!) Stretch Goal bonuses and upgrades, you'll want to pledge at a level that includes the Kickstarter Exclusive Hardcover edition of the book.

We're going to share this news across social media over the weekend, but in the meantime, if you want to get a copy of the book, the Kickstarter campaign runs until next Friday, April 16th... and as always, no funds are collected until after the campaign ends that Friday.

Given that Jamie is contributing art to the book, though, I wanted to let you all know first so you can secure a copy of BUTTS IN SEATS before the campaign ends... and get some exclusive news before we share it for the rest of the world!

Comic fans! Wrestling fans! Butts fans! Our next major campaign is launching now. Tony Schiavone, legendary wrestling commentator for promotions such as WCW, WWF and WWE, and AEW is making a comic!

BUTTS IN SEATS: THE TONY SCHIAVONE STORY is a ten chapter graphic novel retrospective of Tony’s whole life and career, with each chapter illustrated by a different artist handpicked to best portray that stage of Tony's life and career -- both inside and outside professional wrestling!

Hey Everyone,

Just wanted to share another interesting Kickstarter. Our good  friends at Stranger Comics, known for their heroic elven fantasy series,  Niobe, have some new heroic elves… in a hilarious and cheeky  comedy  caper: RUINING CHRISTMAS. It’s "an irreverent tale about the spirit  of giving taking it…  for far too long... from a 10-inch yule log."
